Employment-Focused Vocational Program

WOLVES (Work. Options. Learning. Value. Empowerment. Skills.) is a community‑focused employment and vocational program that supports people with disabilities in exploring meaningful work, volunteering, and career pathways. The program emphasizes real‑world experience, skill development, and personal growth to help individuals achieve their vocational goals in Center-Based Employment (CBE) and Group Supported Employment (GSE) settings.

WOLVES combines employment training, volunteer opportunities, and hands‑on vocational activities that build confidence, independence, and transferable workplace skills. Participants engage in experiences aligned with their interests and strengths while gaining exposure to community workplaces and service opportunities.

The program offers a flexible, semi‑customizable structure that allows individuals to progress at their own pace. Through guided learning and supportive coaching, participants develop job readiness, communication skills, and positive work behaviors needed for success in the community. WOLVES builds on Beacon Group’s long history of supporting people with disabilities in Southern Arizona, with an expanded focus on community integration, higher earning potential, and enhanced training. The program is designed to support growth toward more independent and integrated employment options, including group, individual supported, and competitive employment.

All WOLVES activities are supported by Beacon Group Job Coaches and Vocational Technicians, who provide training, guidance, and encouragement. The program remains intentionally flexible, adapting to each person’s goals while promoting inclusion, independence, and meaningful community participation.
